CNB Narrow Broaching Captive Screws

• Use a narrow broaching captive screw design for limited-space applications where compact panel hardware and a contemporary appearance are required.
• Install easily in P.C. boards, aluminum sheets, castings, and other soft materials, with non-plated holes recommended for P.C. board applications.
• Available in inch thread sizes 4-40 and 6-32, plus metric thread sizes M3 and M3.5.
• Offered with cross-recess, slot, and six-lobe recess drive options, with knurled or smooth cap configurations available.
• Install by pressing the fastener between concentric, parallel punch-and-anvil surfaces until the retainer shoulder seats flush with the sheet.
• Provide average destructive push-out values of 55-60 lbs. in .060" FR-4 fiberglass and 245-267N in 1.53mm FR-4 fiberglass when installation specifications are followed.
