BS13 Swage-In Ball Studs

  • Can be installed by either flare-in or swage-in methods, giving engineers flexibility for different sheet designs and assembly requirements.
  • Well suited for painted sheets and close-to-edge applications where a secure ball stud attachment is needed without using separate threaded hardware.
  • Accommodate Sheet 1 thicknesses from .025"-.256" (0.64-6.50mm) through multiple length codes, helping match the ball stud to the panel stack-up.
  • Available with shank length codes A through F, covering swage-in Sheet B thicknesses from .015"-.220" (0.38-5.59mm).
  • Install using parallel, concentric punch-and-anvil tooling; swage-in installation uses light pressure to form the ball stud shank into the prepared sheet hole.
  • Made from 300-series stainless steel with passivated and/or tested finish per ASTM A967 for corrosion-resistant performance in demanding assemblies.
