A Season of Giving: Employees Help Feed Communities Across the U.S.

From November through December, employees at PENCOM came together to support communities across the country by voluntarily donating $3,726.16 to 12 different food banks throughout the United States. PENCOM matched every employee contribution dollar-for-dollar, bringing the total impact to more than $7,400.

Food banks are able to maximize the power of monetary donations through their distribution networks, typically converting $1 into 5 to 10 meals. As a result of this collective effort, PENCOM’s holiday giving initiative will help provide an estimated 37,000 to 74,500 meals to families and individuals in need this season.

The donations supported food banks serving diverse regions across the country, allowing PENCOM employees to contribute both locally and nationally through organizations they care about most.
