Strap hinges are generally designed with unequal hinge leaf plates where the longer leaf plate is secured to the door or panel and allows for wider and heavier door applications. These stainless steel hinges are designed with two leaf-style plates with differing through hole patterns and are joined by a pin or rod which is secured by 3 or more overlapping knuckles.
