Pencom has hired John Flanagan as the Global Manufacturing Manager. Mr. Flanagan brings extensive international manufacturing management experience to fill the newly created position.
He earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Alfred State University and began establishing a career in manufacturing management. Mr. Flanagan’s career spans over 35 years in which he gained valuable experience in planning, cost reduction, lean initiatives and operational startups both domestically and abroad. He has previously held positions as General Manager for a 400 - person manufacturing facility and production superintendent.
He will coordinate the efforts of Pencom’s five manufacturing branches located in California, Mexico and Asia. Capitalizing on his experience, Mr. Flanagan will improve and implement systems and procedures to increase efficiency and output. Additionally Mr. Flanagan will work with Pencom Sales and Engineering groups to explore opportunities and develop new manufacturing capabilities.
With a background in electronics manufacturing, Mr. Flanagan is familiar with Pencom’s product line and marketplace and has been a friend of the company for years. His leadership and experience will play a crucial role in Pencom’s growth.
