Inside Sales Account Manager
Pencom is a global manufacturer of custom fasteners and fabricated parts. We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual to be an inside account manager for our Sales team in San Carlos. You must be energetic, positive and willing to learn/grow with the company.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential customers
- Ensure excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate records and an organized work environment
- Establishing new sales opportunities in an exciting environment
- Manage all aspects of sale including procurement of parts, sourcing, quoting, etc.
- Handle all incoming calls promptly
Knowledge and Skills
- 2+ years sales experience required
- College coursework or further education/training a plus
- Able to read technical drawings/specs. Basic knowledge of fabrication processes helpful.
- Bilingual in Mandarin or Spanish a plus. Must be able to read, write and speak English.
- Industry or sales experience in fastener or fabricated parts business to business market preferred.
- Experience with contract manufacturers and sheet metal shops helpful.
- Proven record of sales performance
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly motivated and persistent personality
- Ability to multi-task while learning new information about our customers and various industries
- Must be able to work under pressure
- Must be a self starter with a strong commitment to achieve company sales goals
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and internet
- Must be a team player
